ACCOMMODATION

Melaleuca is an architecturally designed, tranquil retreat, set on 6 acres of natural bush land. It has been created using wood and glass to maximise light, space and harmony with nature. Just 5 minutes walk from sparkling One Mile Beach and 7 minutes drive to Nelson Bay it is home to a large variety of native wildlife including koalas, possums, frogs, sugar-gliders and kookaburras.

CABINS

Our tree-house style cabins consist of one room. There are 2 bunk style beds (one double bed in each cabin). There is a fridge/freezer and fan in each cabin and a small deck on the side with a table and chairs. Linen (pillow, pillowcase, 2 x sheets and 2 x blankets) is included. Please note that none are self-contained.

These cabins can be taken as singles, doubles/twins, 3 share or 4 share.

DORM

Our fantastic dorm has four rooms of 6 share (bunk style) with a fridge/freezer in each room plus a wall mounted fan. Linen (pillow, pillowcase, 2 x sheets and 2 x blankets) is included.

The ultimate in dorm accommodation!!

CAMPING & KOMBI’s/VANS

Camping is “free range” - you pick your own spot, with 4 acres of beautiful natural bushland to pitch a tent. If you don’t have a tent – enquire about our luxury tent hire that includes tent, bed (double or twin), pillows, pillowcases, sheets and blankets (SUMMER MONTHS ONLY).

For our guests in Kombi’s and vans, we set aside a nice shady area for you to park!!

PLEASE NOTE – THERE ARE NO CARS ON THE CAMP AREA AND NO CARAVANS AS WE DO NOT HAVE POWERED SITES.

RATES

BACKPACKER rates range from $32 per person per night for 6-share dorm room and from $35 per person per night for a 4-share cabin.

CAMPING rates range from $20 per person per night.

TENT HIRE ranges from $70 for double/twin per night.

CABINS can also be booked as doubles/twins, prices range from $100 per night, please contact us for more information.

BOOKINGS:

To hold a booking we require a valid credit card number (Visa or Mastercard) including cardholder name and expiry date. We do not charge the credit card unless you do not show up. If you do not show up, your card is charged with either the first nights accommodation or 50% of the total booking (whichever is the greater).

DEPOSITS:

Deposits are required over school holiday periods.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If a booking is cancelled within 2 weeks of your arrival, a 10% booking fee will be charged to your credit card.

If a booking is cancelled within 1 week of your arrival, a 25% booking fee will be charged to your credit card.

If a booking is cancelled within 24 hours of your arrival, a booking fee of either the first nights accommodation or 50% of the total booking (whichever is the greater) will be charged to your credit card. ** Over Long Weekend Public Holidays, Easter and Christmas/New Year period, if a booking is cancelled within 24 hours the TOTAL amount of the booking will be charged to your credit card. **

This cancellation policy related to ALL types of bookings, including camping.
